Text: 2 Tim 4:1-10 1 Tim 4:1-2   (King James Version)

"Father, I am your servant, willing and desiring to be used to bless your people."

The Fields are white and the laborers are few!
C.H. Spurgeon said, "If God does not save a man by truth he certainly will not save them by lies, and if the old gospel is not competent to work a revival, then we will do without the revival;"

The Exodus of the people of God is a type of the Church getting led by the man of God under Gods supernatural Provision and Protection into the promised Land!

2 Timothy 4:1   I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2 Timothy 4:2   Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

2 Timothy 4:3   For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

2 Timothy 4:4   And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

2 Timothy 4:5   But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

2 Timothy 4:6   For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

2 Timothy 4:7   I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

2 Timothy 4:8   Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

2 Timothy 4:9   Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:

2 Timothy 4:10   For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

1 Timothy 4:1   Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

1 Timothy 4:2   Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Let's pray. Father,

Open my eyes so I can see Your truth.

Open my ears so I can hear Your voice.
Open my mind so I can understand Your Word.
And open my heart so I may receive all that You want me to receive. AMEN

Hebrews 3:7   Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

Hebrews 3:8   Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Hebrews 3:9   When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

Hebrews 3:10   Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

Hebrews 3:11   So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

Matthew 13:24-30 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: [25] But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. [26] But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. [27] So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? [28] He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? [29] But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. [30] Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

There are the Deceivers - Satan has put them here to deceive and destroy.

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

There are the Deceived - They only think they are saved, but are not. They know of the savior but do not truly know or love Him.

Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. [22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 25:41-46 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: [42] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: [43] I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. [44] Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? [45] Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

There are the Undecided - They believe in the redemption of the cross but are not willing to fully commit their lives to Christ. (They are afraid of what they might have to give up.)

There are the Reprobate - They are lost, possibly forever. Having turned away from God so many times that God has given up on them and turned them over to a Reprobate mind. They are here to criticize, complain, confuse, and weaken the church.

There are the Religious - By far the most disruptive and destructive group. Relying on their own self-righteousness. They are proud and critical seeking control and their own selfish way. They are here to side track, sabotage, or incapacitate the work and mercy of God. If they cannot control they will seek to split and divide the church.

There are the Believers - People having made a decision for Christ. Their heart is toward the Lord. I didn't say perfect, I said decided. This is the smallest group of the church, but the ones God is most concerned with.

Then there are the Backsliders - Those once saved, having made a commitment to Christ but who have grown cold, indifferent, or lost their way entirely. Their heart is no longer with the Lord. This is the largest group in the church. Most people don't even know that they are in this group.

When the children of Israel came out of Egypt did you know there were a large group of other people who came with them. They were the prior rich, the task masters, and people from many other nations who witnessed the power of God. Do you know what God had to say to them? Nothing.

our churches are fruitless, barren, and powerless. Sooner or latter we must examine ourselves and ask why?
I want more than just a form of godliness. (2 Tim 3:5) If we are just going to play church, I don't want to play. In case you haven't heard yet, Jesus is coming back any moment now.

I want God to restore His church.
I want God to bring back the fullness of the Holy Spirit Power.
I want God to awaken us to the desperate hour we live in.
I want miracles to be common place again.
I want the broken to be restored, the lamb to walk, and the dead to arise.
I want sinners to once again run to the altar of mercy.
I want God's last day church to be a force that shakes the gates of Hell and transforms this world.

God promises these things in His Word. So why are we powerless?

The early church prayed Peter right out of prison (Act 12) but we (the modern church) for the most part couldn't pray a brother out of a parking ticket. We have a form of godliness but deny (reject or refuse) the Power of the Holy Spirit (2 Tim 3:5). The bible tells us to not have anything to do with such a church. To get out of it.

So what's the problem? Where are the miracles we read about in the bible? Where are the promises we read about in the bible? There could only be two solutions; either God's word is not true, or there is sin in the camp.

Do you know what is worse than sin in the camp? It is the allowance (or acceptance) of sin in the camp. (1 Cor 5:1-2)

Do you think that God is only Angry with the Wicked? You are wrong. Yes, He is angry with the Wicked. (Ps 7:11) But read through the Bible and you will see that most of His anger is directed toward His own people. (Isa 5:25, Ps 74:1-2, Ps 80:3-4, Ps 85:4-6) In fact, remember God was so Angry with Moses that he was not allowed to enter into the promised land because he disobeyed one time and did not honor God in front of the people. (Deut 4:21-22, Deut 3:23-26).

There is a reason, He is angry with those He loves the most because they are backsliding in heart.

He is also angry with those who hurt or hinder those He loves the most. Eternal souls are at stake.

I know God is about to clean house. For Judgment begins at the House of God. (1 Pet 4:17)

God is going to call some out of this modern church for a great last day work.

God is about to do something spectacular. He is going to call out a remnant of true believers, ones unattached to this world and dedicated completely to Him, who have the power and faith to shake this world. The bible tells us that they (these few) will do great exploits for God (Dan 11:32) in the last days.

I pray this message will awaken His sleeping saints. God's full wrath coming and no man can stand in His presence (Heb 10:31)

The Children of Israel only had one direct encounter with God.

Exodus 19:10-11 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes, [11] And be ready against the third day: for the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

Exodus 19:16-19 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled. [17] And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. [18] And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. [19] And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

Exodus 20:18-19 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. [19] And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

If men cannot stand before God who came just to speak to them, how can any man stand before an Angry God? Jesus came once as a lamb, but next time He is coming as a Lion!

That day is coming soon. He is coming and He is Angry!

It will be an awesome and terrible day, one of unimaginable fear and dread. When God's wrath is pored out on mankind. When He has had enough! His anger from the sin of Cain until this very moment.

When the fierce power of God's presence appears no man will stand in His presence, even the angels will hide their eyes. Only one, Jesus Christ, can stand before him, and those hiding behind Him. Jesus will be extending his arms protecting those behind Him. He will say "Do not touch those who have committed their lives to me."

His Wrath is come, who will stand?

Matthew 3:7-8 (KJV) 7 But when he (John the Baptist) saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
Rev. 14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Revelation 16:15-21 (NKJV) 15 "Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame." 16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. 17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It is done!" 18 And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. 19 Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. 20 Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.

Isaiah 2:10-11 (NKJV) 10 Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, From the terror of the LORD And the glory of His majesty. 11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, The haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, And the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

Isaiah 2:19-21 (NKJV) 19 They shall go into the holes of the rocks, And into the caves of the earth, From the terror of the LORD And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily. 20 In that day a man will cast away his idols of silver And his idols of gold, Which they made, each for himself to worship, To the moles and bats, 21 To go into the clefts of the rocks, And into the crags of the rugged rocks, From the terror of the LORD And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily.

Revelation 6:12-17 (NKJV) 12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.

13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. 14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. 15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16 and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"
Isaiah 13:6-8 (NKJV) 6 Wail, for the day of the LORD is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. 7 Therefore all hands will be limp, Every man's heart will melt, 8 And they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; They will be amazed at one another; Their faces will be like flames….
You had better Fear Him!

Luke 12:4-5 (NKJV) 4 "And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!
You had better be Kneeling behind Jesus on that day!

Isai 26:20 (KJS) Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. 21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Then soon thereafter comes the Great White Throne day of Judgment
Revelation 20:11-15 (NKJV) 11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
Roma 14:9 (KJS) For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. 10 …for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, [As] I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Acts 17:31 (NKJV) 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead."
Only those written in the book of life will enter into His Heaven. (Rev 21:27)

Exodus 32:33 And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

To hear that God is Angry is strange to us, why?

Is God really Angry?

Ezekiel 8:18 (NKJV) 18 Therefore I also will act in fury. My eye will not spare nor will I have pity; and though they cry in My ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them."
God is the same Yesterday, today, and forever. There is but One God
Hebr 13:8 (KJS) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Mala 3:6 For I [am] the LORD, I change not; …

Jame 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

He changes not.

Remember Jesus got Angry

Matthew 21:12-13 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, [13] And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Why then do we (the modern church) have two Gods? The fierce and jealous God of the Old Testament, and our new lenient and merciful god of the New Testament? Our god is kind, understanding, never angry, always supportive and ready to help us accomplish our goals. (Our god is Aunt Bee.)

Most of the modern American church romanticizes the New Testament, we read with blinders, picking only the verses that we like and ignoring the rest. We misinterpret most of it completely. We must remember that the New Testament was written by persecuted people as they were inspired by the Holy Spirit to a heavily persecuted church.

It is time for us to put away our idolatry and serve the one and only God of the Bible. He is loving and merciful, but He is also a jealous and fierce God. He is not willing that any would perish (2Pet 3:9) and loves us with a perfect love (1Joh 4:18) so naturally He does not want us to be drawn away into idolatry and sin.

This is the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God. (2 Thes 1:
