Text: Luke 15:11-32 (King James Version)

"Father, I am your servant, willing and desiring to be used to bless your people."

The Fields are white and the laborers are few!
C.H. Spurgeon said, "If God does not save a man by truth he certainly will not save them by lies, and if the old gospel is not competent to work a revival, then we will do without the revival;"

What is it that fills this void in all of us; that satisfies the deepest longings of our hearts? The eunuch in Acts 8: was most likely reading aloud in Greek from the Septuagint in Isaiah 53:7.  This eunuch had followed what light he had and had made this long pilgrimage to Jerusalem but even in the midst of all the symbols of the old faith he found no answers, only more questions. Little did he know that God had seen the hunger in his heart and had prepared a man to bring a life giving message to him. Acts 8:35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

I feel a special call and Presence of God this morning! I woke up with great anticipation that God was already moving among his people gathering them up for this special hour. No matter what you may think this morning as to the reason you are here, you are not here by mistake, but by God's divine invitation! It was God that chose for you to be here this special day and God has spoken to me this morning that immediately following the service I am to lay hands on each and every one of you! All I want you to say and Ask is where is the God of Elijah? You say PASTOR, That could take a while! Jesus through Peter in Acts 5:29   Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Luke 15:11   And he said, A certain man had two sons:  God had 2 Sons Adam and Jesus!

Luke 15:12   And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

Luke 15:13   And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

Luke 15:14   And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

Luke 15:15   And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

Luke 15:16   And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

Luke 15:17   And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

Luke 15:18   I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

Luke 15:19   And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

Luke 15:20   And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

Luke 15:21   And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

Luke 15:22   But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

Luke 15:23   And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

Luke 15:24   For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

Luke 15:25   Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing.

Luke 15:26   And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.

Luke 15:27   And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.

Luke 15:28   And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and entreated him.

Luke 15:29   And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

Luke 15:30   But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

Luke 15:31   And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

Luke 15:32   It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

Let's pray. Father,  Open my eyes so I can see Your truth.

Open my ears so I can hear Your voice.
Open my mind so I can understand Your Word.
And open my heart so I may receive all that You want me to receive. AMEN

2 Chronicles 7:14   If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

God is now ready to do a very fast work! We have been crying out where is that, that was spoken of by the prophet Joel! Where is the God of Elijah! The power of God cannot operate the vain efforts of self righteousness but in active relationship with him through the sacrifice of HIS Beloved SON Jesus Christ!  The Prodigal was still the Son but HE wasn't where the Father wanted him to be. He tried it his way and we all have and had the same results. This is nothing less the Insanity. Insanity is trying the same thing over and over again and again and expecting different results.

In the Garden of Eden, Leather was better than leaves but there was something more here than the skin of and innocent animal. Beyond the leather apron that covered their nakedness was the blood. They had been clothed with purity and righteousness. They had sought to clothe themselves with their own self-righteousness after the fall but the fact that God replaced the leaves with the leather indicates that the fig leaf fashions were not enough for God. They needed more than a covering, they needed cleansing! What can wash away my sin, NOTHING but the BLOOD of Jesus

God already know where we are at in our relationship with HIM!

1 Samuel 16:7   But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

Luke 3:4   As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

Luke 3:5   Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;

Luke 3:6   And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

Luke 3:7   Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O  generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

Luke 3:8   Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

Luke 3:9   And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Malachi 3:7   Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

Jeremiah 24:7   And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

Isaiah 44:22   I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

The Prodigal SON had the same mentality as ours as he contemplated what his father would think of him.  It wasn't about him or what he did or didn't do. It was about who he belonged to.  He was still the Fathers SON and the very expression of the Fathers Love was displayed as soon as he laid eyes upon him! Restored.

2 Corinthians 4:7   But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Church, People of God it is time we grab hold of the Mantle of Jesus and start smiting the waters that are trying to overtake us.

Jesus told us in

Luke 10:19   Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Luke 10:20   Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Luke 10:21   In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

If I am buried with him in Baptism then I now live because of HIM!

Romans 6:4   Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Galatians 2:20   I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Colossians 1:13   Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Philippians 3:10   That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Ephesians 2:1   And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins:

Ephesians 2:2   Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Romans 1:16   For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Ephesians 6:10   Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Mark 16:17   And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Mark 16:18   They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Mark 16:19   So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Mark 16:20   And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Religion only operated with a form.

2 Timothy 3:5   Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
