Vaughn Text: Matt 12:46-50
(King James Version)
"Father, I am your servant, willing and desiring
to be
used to
bless your
people."
The Fields are white and the laborers are few! Matthew 12:46 While he yet talked to the people,
behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with
him. Matthew 12:47 Then one said unto him, Behold,
thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with
thee. Matthew 12:48 But he answered and said unto him
that told him, Who is my mother? and who
are my brethren? Matthew 12:49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his
disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my
brethren! Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my
Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and
mother. Let's pray. Father, Open my eyes so I can see Your truth.
Open my ears so I can hear
Your voice. A perfect heart comes not
from sinlessness, but from confession. Some preachers say the sin nature is
eradicated at salvation, but none of their wives believe that! God is not
changing us so He can love us; He loves us and, therefore, He is changing us.
God does not love us because we are valuable; we are valuable because He loves
us! Who is my Brother My Mother
My Neighbor? 1st and greatest
commandment If I told you I have the
greatest family on Earth, some of you could argue the fact but never could you
prove in my HEART of Hearts what I believe is TRUTH because it is settled.
There is a sword coming on
the land and everything that can be shaken is about to be
shook. Donald Gray Barnhouse once
told a story of a young son of a missionary couple in Zaire. One day the little
boy was out playing in his front yard, and suddenly his father appeared and very
sternly said, "Phillip, obey me immediately. Drop to your stomach." The little
boy obeyed. Then the father said, "Now, start crawling toward me." And the
little boy began to crawl, not understanding what was going on. And then the
father said, "Now, jump up and run to me as fast as you can." With tears in his
eyes, the little boy ran toward his father, and his father scooped him, hugged
him and kissed him. He then slowly turned around and pointed to the deadly snake
that was hanging from a tree. Ezekiel 33:2 Son of man, speak to the children
of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a
land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for
their watchman: Ezekiel 33:3 If when he seeth the sword come
upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the
people; Ezekiel 33:4 Then whosoever heareth the sound
of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away,
his blood shall be upon his own head. Ezekiel 33:5 He heard the sound of the trumpet,
and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning
shall deliver his soul. Ezekiel 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword
come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come,
and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his
blood will I require at the watchman's hand. Ezekiel 33:7 So thou, O son of man, I have set
thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at
my mouth, and warn them from me. Ezekiel 33:8 When I say unto the wicked, O
wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked
from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I
require at thine hand. John 9:4 I must work the works of him that
sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
John 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am
the light of the world. Of all the Gifts God has
given us the greatest is Love 1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope,
charity, these three; but the greatest of these is
charity. Hebrews 13:1 Let brotherly love continue.
Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain
strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels
unawares. We are all created
Different but we all have the same purpose. Genesis 4:2 And she again bare his brother
Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the
ground. Genesis 4:3 And in process of time it came to
pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the
LORD. Genesis 4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the
firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto
Abel and to his offering: Genesis 4:5 But unto Cain and to his offering
he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance
fell. Genesis 4:6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why
art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? Genesis 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not
be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee
shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. Genesis 4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his
brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up
against Abel his brother, and slew him. Genesis 4:9 And the LORD said unto Cain, Where
is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's
keeper? Genesis 4:10 And he said, What hast thou done?
the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the
ground. Genesis 4:11 And now art thou cursed from the
earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy
hand; Genesis 4:12 When thou tillest the ground, it
shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond
shalt thou be in the earth. Genesis 4:13 And Cain said unto the LORD, My
punishment is greater than I can bear. Luke 10:24 For I tell you, that many prophets
and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them;
and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
Luke 10:25 And, behold, a certain lawyer
stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal
life? Luke 10:26 He said unto him, What is written
in the law? how readest
thou? Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt
love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all
thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as
thyself. Luke 10:28 And he said unto him, Thou hast
answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. Luke 10:29 But he, willing to justify
himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour? Luke 10:30 And Jesus answering said, A
certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which
stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half
dead. Luke 10:31 And by chance there came down a
certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other
side. Luke 10:32 And likewise a Levite, when he was
at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
Luke 10:33 But a certain Samaritan, as he
journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
Luke 10:34 And went to him, and bound up his
wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him
to an inn, and took care of him. Luke 10:35 And on the morrow when he
departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him,
Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will
repay thee. Luke 10:36 Which now of these three, thinkest
thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the
thieves? Luke 10:37 And he said, He that showed mercy
on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou
likewise. Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in
his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne
of his glory: Matthew 25:32 And before him shall be gathered
all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth
his sheep from the goats: Matthew 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his
right hand, but the goats on the left. Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them
on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared
for you from the foundation of the world: Matthew 25:35 For I was an hungered, and ye gave
me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me
in: Matthew 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was
sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto
me. Matthew 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer
him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and
gave thee drink? Matthew 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and
took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Matthew 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in
prison, and came unto thee? Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say
unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the
least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto
me. Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them
on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for
the devil and his angels: Matthew 25:42 For I was an hungered, and ye gave
me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: Matthew 25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me
not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me
not. Matthew 25:44 Then shall they also answer him,
saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked,
or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto
thee? Matthew 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying,
Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these,
ye did it not to me. Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into
everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life
eternal. We live in a day in which
you better know what you believe, and why you believe it! I do not believe the
Bible is the Word of God by mere, blind faith…I don't like the term "blind
faith."Because true faith is always rooted in evidence/based upon facts. The
Bible is the book that has walked more paths, traveled more highways, knocked on
more doors, spoken to more people in their mother tongue, than any other book
has ever known, or ever will know. it is supernatural in origin, eternal in
duration, inexpressible in value, immeasurable in influence, infinite in scope,
divine in authorship, human in penmanship, regenerative in power, infallible in
authority, universal in interest, personal in application, and inspired in
totality! Even the thief on the cross took God at His Word, and was saved!
Hebrews 4:13 Neither is there any creature that
is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes
of him with whom we have to do. Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great
high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold
fast our profession. Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest
which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all
points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto
the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of
need. The personal heart
relationship must first be corrected and in right
standings! Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all
things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the
reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to
the fruit of his doings. Revelation 2:23 And I will kill her children with
death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins
and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. When
you are down to nothing but Gods word the fire is about to
fall. Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from whence
thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto
thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou
repent. James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw
nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double
minded. Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was
fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound
from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they
were sitting. Acts 2:3 And there appeared unto them
cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of
them. Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the
Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them
utterance. Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the
place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled
with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with
boldness. James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not
works, is dead, being alone. James 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast
faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show
thee my faith by my works. James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one
God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and
tremble. James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man,
that faith without works is dead?

C.H. Spurgeon said, "If
God does not save a man by truth he certainly will not save them by lies, and if
the old gospel is not competent to work a revival, then we will do without the
revival;"
