Opening illustration: AN ESKIMO FISHERMAN CAME to town
every Saturday afternoon. He always brought his two dogs with him. One was white
and the other was black. He had taught them to fight on command. Every Saturday
afternoon in the town square the people would gather and these two dogs would
fight and the fisherman would take bets. On one Saturday the black dog would
win; another Saturday, the white dog would win - but the fisherman always won!

This story about the two dogs is apt because it tells us something about the inner warfare that comes into the life of a person who is born again.
We have two natures within us, both struggling for mastery. Which one will dominate us? It depends on which one we feed. If we feed our spiritual lives and allow the Holy Spirit to empower us.
"We are but Pilgrim's within a strange land"
John 21:10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.
There is a day of reckoning coming for each and every one of us. Not just us but every knee will bow and every tongue will confess one day and give an account of the things we have done in this earthen tabernacle.
John 21:11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
John 21:12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.
John 21:13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.
John 21:14 This is now the third time that Jesus showed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.
John 21:15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

John 21:17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
