Text: Ex 3: 1-14  (King James Version)

  "Father, I am your servant, willing and desiring to be used to bless your people."

                            The Fields are white and the laborers are few!
C.H. Spurgeon said, "If God does not save a man by truth he certainly will not save them by lies, and if the old gospel is not competent to work a revival, then we will do without the revival;"

Exodus 3:1   Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.

Exodus 3:2   And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

Exodus 3:3   And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

Exodus 3:4   And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

Exodus 3:5   And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

Exodus 3:6   Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

Exodus 3:7   And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

Exodus 3:8   And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Exodus 3:9   Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.

Exodus 3:10   Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Exodus 3:11   And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?

Exodus 3:12   And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.

Exodus 3:13   And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

Exodus 3:14   And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Let's pray. Father, Open my eyes so I can see Your truth.

Open my ears so I can hear Your voice.
Open my mind so I can understand Your Word.
And open my heart so I may receive all that You want me to receive. AMEN

Ecclesiastes 3:1   To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Father, we pray that Your power will descend on us and empty us of everything known as self and drain out every unbrokenness out of our spirits, so that Your word can have root in our lives, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

2 Corinthians 5:17   Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

It is time to count the cost and pay the price. What is the price? You must be ready to surrender your life and lay your all on the altar of God

When the whirlwind from heaven was taking Elijah up, one would have expected that Elisha would first lay hold of the mantle of power which was his priority. But the first thing he did, according to the Bible, was to tear his garment into two before laying hold on the mantle. He had to put off the old! A lot of us are in a haste to flow in the power of God without being ready to pay the price.
It is God's desire to endue us with power. But are you prepared to pay the price? Are you willing to lay all at His altar?

Without this mantle of power, powers of darkness will operate in a greater dimension and a lot of people will be rendered captive. God is not just calling us to come, warm the chairs and shout Alleluia. He is calling us to confound the works of darkness in our environment. A lot of us are falling short of this because of our inability to lay all at the altar.

Romans 13:11   And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Romans 13:12   The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Romans 13:13   Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

Romans 13:14   But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

1 Peter 2:9   But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

1 Peter 2:10   Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

1 Peter 2:11   Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

Ephesians 4:21   If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

Ephesians 4:22   That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

Ephesians 4:23   And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Colossians 3:8   But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

Colossians 3:9   Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

Colossians 3:10   And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Ephesians 4:24   And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Ephesians 4:25   Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Ephesians 4:26   Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Ephesians 4:27   Neither give place to the devil.

Ephesians 4:28   Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Ephesians 4:29   Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Ephesians 4:30   And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Ephesians 4:31   Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Ephesians 4:32   And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Galatians 3:27   For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Galatians 3:28   There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 3:29   And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Ephesians 6:10   Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Ephesians 6:11   Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Ephesians 6:12   For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Ephesians 6:13   Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Ephesians 6:14   Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Ephesians 6:15   And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Ephesians 6:16   Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Ephesians 6:17   And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

God will endue you with power for a purpose. And the purpose may be hard but you will make preparations for it.

God wants to profit with us hence His investing in our lives. You cannot live the life of an unprofitable servant, who buried the one talent that was given to him by his master. This means that your life must be tailored towards yielding dividends unto God. At this juncture, I want you to raise up your voice and pray like this: "O Lord, anything that will not make You to profit with my life, take it out now, in the name of Jesus."

Matthew 4:1-4 says, "Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." For you to remain standing as a Christian who will make heaven, there are three things you cannot put aside:

1. Holiness: The Bible does not mince words as regards the importance of holiness. It says in Hebrews 12: 14: "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:" You may see anything, you may see a vision, you may prophesy, you may know your pastor, you can hold all the church posts but seeing God without being holy is impossible.

2. Prayer: Jesus did not say preach without ceasing, but He said pray without ceasing. Without prayer, you cannot communicate with God. This is an unnegotiable condition for making heaven. A prayerless Christian is a dead Christian. The staff with which to walk with God is prayer.

3. The word of God: This is one area where the devil has dealt a serious blow on so many Christians. It is sad but true that many church goers are completely ignorant of the Bible

The Israelites had no water until they dug the ditches. (2 Kings 3:16). There was no healing for Naaman until he had the seven dips. There was no oil until the vessels were gathered. And Jesus did not turn water to wine until the vessels were filled with water. There can be no harvest until the ground has been broken up. So you need to break your fallow ground. There can be no reconciliation without repentance, and no entrance into heaven without being cleansed by the blood of the Lamb.

God will not make an exception here. The Bible says rend your hearts and not your garments. Before laying hold on the mantle of power that God has for all if us there are asome things we must rend and put off,  When you rend your heart, then you will rend the heavens and the power will fall on you. The inability to rend the heart, which is a sign of unbrokenness has sealed up the heavens against many. For the heavens to open unto you, there is need to break your heart before the Lord. For a broken and a contrite heart, God will not despise. When you are broken before the Lord, you will receive the mantle of power. There is need for you to rend your hearts today if indeed you want to flow in the power of God. In every aspect of your life, show forth His victory in every place by rending your heart. Then you shall be His true witness and an emblem of His presence.
