Wed PM Worship                     An end time warning on the direction of America!

Text: Isaiah  9-8-19 (King James Version)

"Father, I am your servant, willing and desiring to be used to bless your people."

The Fields are white and the laborers are few!
C.H. Spurgeon said, "If God does not save a man by truth he certainly will not save them by lies, and if the old gospel is not competent to work a revival, then we will do without the revival;"

Isaiah 9:8   The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.

Isaiah 9:9   And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart,

Isaiah 9:10   The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycamores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.

Isaiah 9:11   Therefore the LORD shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him, and join his enemies together;

Isaiah 9:12   The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Isaiah 9:13   For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.

Isaiah 9:14   Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day.

Isaiah 9:15   The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.

Isaiah 9:16   For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.

Isaiah 9:17   Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Isaiah 9:18   For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.

Isaiah 9:19   Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother.

Let's pray. Father,  Open my eyes so I can see Your truth.

Open my ears so I can hear Your voice. Open my mind so I can understand Your Word.
And open my heart so I may receive all that You want me to receive. AMEN

                                         The Final Countdown Has Begun.

As I was praying before the Lord this week, I felt the Lord speak unto my spirit on the urgency of the hour by comparison of Ancient Israel to that of America.

Introduction: I believe God will show us through this Prophetic sermon that HE is indeed warning America .

1 Is it really possible that an ancient Scripture holds a mystery that reveals America's future? I believe the answer is "yes."

I believe that the mystery lies behind everything from 9/11, to the War on Terror, to the crash of Wall Street and the global economy, to the Great Recession and more.

I believe that the mystery has even been confirmed in the words & actions of our nations leaders, including the president of the United States.

I believe it is possible that this mystery contains a prophetic word/message/warning to America from God . . . a word of warning of national judgement.

                                               "Holy Ground Zero" 2

In the entire history of the world only two nations have began by being dedicated to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: Israel & The United States of America.
1 The initial point of dedication for Israel was when Moses told the nation of Israel before they entered into the Promised Land (Deut. 30. 15-20).

Deuteronomy 30:15   See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

Deuteronomy 30:16   In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Deuteronomy 30:17   But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

Deuteronomy 30:18   I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.

Deuteronomy 30:19   I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Deuteronomy 30:20   That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

I want you to follow this now as Judgment will always return to the ground of its consecration.

Later, King Solomon at the dedication of the Temple prayed & consecrated the Temple to the Lord
2 Chronicles 6:12   And he stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands:

2 Chronicles 6:13   For Solomon had made a brazen scaffold, of five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court: and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees before all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven,

2 Chronicles 6:14   And said, O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and showest mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts:

2 Chronicles 6:15   Thou which hast kept with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him; and spakest with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.

The dedication was lead by the national leader (King Solomon) and other leaders and the people. They were gathered at the Temple Mount (Capital of Israel)

How do we know that God Heard Solomon as he dedicated and Consecrated the temple?
2 Chronicles 7:12   And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.

2 Chronicles 7:13   If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

2 Chronicles 7:14   If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:15   Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

There has never been a people who have held the Word of God in such esteem, authority than Ancient Israel.

His Word was a matter of life & death; prosperity & adversity; feast & famine.
If they ignored His Word (or Warning via the prophets) the results were always catastrophic.

With the dedication came a hedge of protection that God placed around Israel that kept them safe from other kingdoms, empires, powers, principalities.

No other nation had been given a covenant with God, but the covenant had a condition.
A Covenant is a pact, treaty, alliance, or agreement. (IL. Contract, Marriage) between two parties of equal or unequal authority.

If Israel followed the ways of God they would be blessed among nations.
If Israel fell away, turned against His way/Word they'd have their blessing removed and replaced by calamity.
Once the hedge God had placed over Israel was removed . . . everything changed.

The descent of Israel (Northern Kingdom) wasn't overnight but gradual.
The falling away began with "small" things.
The people still used the name of God but it began to have less and less meaning behind it. (IL. Pledge of Allegiance, Money "In God We Trust")

Then they started merging Him with the gods of other nations (Baal, Molech, etc.)
They began turning from God-subtly at first, then outright, then brazenly by driving Him out of their national life and bringing in idols to fill the void.
They had transformed themselves into the enemies of the God they had once worshiped even to the point where it was forbidden to mention God's name in their public square.
They cut themselves off from the faith that their nation had been established and became strangers to God.
They rejected their covenant, abandoned their standards, & exchanged the values they had always lived by for those they had never known.
They traded holiness for profanity; spirituality for sensuality; righteousness for self-interest.

What they once thought was right & good they now saw as outdated, intolerant, & immoral. (Everything was now upside in Israel.)

Israel had no idea was coming. Business as usual when calamity struck.
As long as they had remained under His protection/hedge no kingdom, empire, no power on earth could touch them . . . once it was removed, everything changed.

In 732 B.C., after warning after warning from the prophets, God momentarily lifted the hedge that had shielded/protected Israel allowing the Assyrians to attack Israel.

Because the nation refused to repent, return it would fall into total destruction about 10 years later.
Eventually the city of Jerusalem/Kingdom of Judah would fall and the Temple would be destroyed in the 5th century B.C.

When judgment comes to such a nation that was once committed/consecrated to His purpose, the judgment will always return to the ground of its consecration.

America & Ancient Israel are connected by the Temple Dedication in Jerusalem and the first inauguration of the first American President.

"Example" The Temple dedication in Israel was an inauguration and the inauguration of the first president was a dedication.

Each was an opening day, a day of completion and acceptance.
1 The Completion of a structure (Jerusalem).

2 The Structure of a Nation (America)
Each involved the gathering of a nation together at the nations capital, And both were presided over by the King and the President . . . the nations leader.

Follow this very closely as I have stated Judgment will always return the ground of its consecration. "If I am going to fast let me know"

History tells us that America's first day as fully formed nation was not in 1776, but actually April 30, 1789, when the first time the nation and its government was lead by a president.

1 In President Washington's first presidential address, he said:
"No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible Hand which conducts the affairs of men more than those of the United States. Every step by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency."

Just as Solomon had offered up prayers to the Almighty on Israel's future in the past, so did Washington at his inauguration.

He continues "It would be peculiarly improper to omit in this first official act my fervent supplications to that Almighty Being who rules over the universe, who presides in the councils of nations, and whose providential aids can supply every human defect, that His benediction may consecrate to the liberties and happiness of the people of the United States a Government instituted by themselves for these essential purposes."

It wasn't just Washington giving a nod in prayer but April 30, 1789 was a designated as a day of prayer and dedication for the whole nation.

This is proclamation that went forth:
"On the morning of the day on which our illustrious President will be invested with his office, the bells will ring at nine o'clock, when the people may go up to the house of God in a solemn manner. An early hour is prudently fixed for this peculiar act of devotion and is designed wholly for prayer."  Sound Familiar?

At 9 AM on April 30, 1789, the sounds of bells filled our nations capital for 30 minutes calling the people to the House of God to commit the new government, with its important train of consequences, to the holy protection and blessing of the Most High.

For the President & new government, their prayer gathering would take place later that day at a place especially chosen for that purpose.

After Washington finished his first address, he lead the Senate and the House of Representatives on foot in a process through the streets of the capital from Federal Hall to a little stone church (The first official act of the newly formed government took place inside the walls of church).

I can imagine the people lining the streets, looking out windows, filling up rooftops all to see the nations first steps.

Through the church's doors entered the whole of the America's first government to bow together in prayer to consecrate the new nation's future into the hands of God.
It was here the U.S. was committed to the Almighty; this is America's ground of consecration.

Stay with here you cannot afford to miss this!

These great events in our nations birth took place in the capital city.

Guess What the Capital was at that time, New York City.

(Washington never set foot in Washington D.C., but he did set foot in New York)

I think you probably see where I am headed with this by now!

The church he took the government to pray at was Trinity Church, today St. Paul's Cathedral, to commit and to consecrate America to God.

America was committed to God at the corner of what would become Ground Zero.

judgment will always return to the ground of its consecration.

George Washington, John Adams, America's Founding Fathers had gathered at Ground Zero on April 30, 1789 to pray on the day that America's foundation was laid as the consecrating act of that foundation.

Right there On Ground Zero was where they came to commit our nation's future to God's holy protection.
Ohh Church this is where somebody need to Shout unto the Lord!

It would was right here 212 years later that holy protection would first be withdrawn.

The very ground that would eventually be Ground Zero for 9/11 had first originally been a field owned by the church, the same church our nation was consecrated to God at.  Can I get an amen!

The land of Ground Zero is the spiritual birth place of America!

Now listen to this! It gets worse!
On September 12, 2001, Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle addressed the world as a representative and leader of America saying:
"Mr. President, it is with pain, sorrow, anger, and resolve that I stand before this Senate, a symbol for 212 years. . ." 2001-212= 1789  Remember the Date not 1776

Not only was America's ground of consecration at Ground Zero; America's ground of consecration is Ground Zero.
judgment will always return to the ground of its consecration.

It wasn't until Sept. 14 that anyone was able to inspect what was left of St. Paul's.
Miraculously, where workers expected to see a pile of rubble, they instead found a completely intact chapel.

Not a window had been broken. Not an inch of the walls or the roof had been compromised. The building's structure was as sound as it had ever been. You didn't hear this on the NEWS though!

The energy released in the destruction of 9/11 was comparable to a small nuclear bomb being detonated (Impact of the planes, jet fuel, fire burning in the towers, collapse)
2 Billion pounds of steel came crashing to the ground (registered on the Richter Scale)
Everything inside and below the WTC buildings was smashed beyond recognition.
Every window facing the Trade Center was blown out. Every nearby building suffered damage, some beyond repair . . .except the Chapel.

It was almost as if all the power and fury of the disaster surrounding the church had somehow been directed at that one uprooted Sycamore tree.

With all the devastation of much more modern buildings all around it "tiny St. Paul's Chapel was barely touched, leaving it available to provide desperately needed support to those working tirelessly to clear the Trade Center rubble.
One tree, sacrificed to save the church!!!  Is God speaking or What!

When judgment comes to such a nation that was once committed and consecrated to His purpose, the judgment will return to the ground of its consecration.

New York wasn't the only target hit on 9/11; Washington D.C. was also hit: The center of our nations leadership.

Two Final alarms!
As I share the last two alarms please note they are not as "visable" as the bricks, gazit stone, sycamore, cedar . . . these are more general but are just as important as the 7 preceding alarms.

I The eighth alarm: The Utterance (Isaiah 9.8-9)
Jacob, Ephraim, Samaria are all important in the scope the prophecy
Jacob, Ephraim (Were national figures, leaders in Israel); Samaria was the capital of the Northern Kingdom of Israel.)

They were National leaders speaking the vow of Isaiah from the nations capitol.
Who can speak for a nation? Her leaders.

Where is the nations seat of government, where her leaders led from? The Capitol of the nation.

The vow is proclaimed with authority by the leaders on behalf of the entire nation.
This is what we will do, course we've set . . . from the capital.
After the calamity of Assyrian attack, the nations leaders respond with public proclamations of defiance.

National pride swells as the leaders vow to come back bigger, stronger, taller, etc.
The words form a vow & the vow gives voice to a spirit and seals the nations course.

On September 11, 2004 the candidate for vice-president on the democratic ticket (a Senator & at the time one of our nations most prominent leaders) spoke at a congressional caucus in Washington D.C. on three year anniversary of the events of 9/11. Word for word what he declared.

"Good morning. Today, on this day of remembrance and mourning, we have the Lord's word to get us through: The bricks have fallen But we will build with dressed stones. The sycamores have been cut down But we will put cedars in their place."

Over 30,000 verses in the bible and this is the one he chooses?

The leader's intention was to deliver an inspiring and encouraging speech but without realizing that he was pronouncing judgment on America.

Every piece of the puzzle falls into place, in the exact place, but no one intends it to happen!
No human hand could direct what has happened
The utterance, although not as visible as other alarms, is just as loud (if not louder) than any of the alarms/warnings.

Alarm Nine: The Prophecy
The utterance was vow (what is/present tense) and the last alarm is a prophecy (what would be a future tense).

Isaiah 9.10 exists in two realms; The voice of nation proclaiming a vow in defiance of God & the voice of God speaking of the future through the voice of a prophet (Isaiah) so "all the people know." (Is. 9.9).

The ninth alarm is a manifestation of Isaiah 9.10 in the form of a prophecy.
This word had to be spoken right after the calamity, by a national leader, at the nations capital city.

Right after being like on September 12, 2001.

The morning after the attack (the two representative bodies of the American Congress) the United States Senate & House of Representatives convened to issue a joint resolution responding to 9/11 from the Senate floor.

The Senate Majority Leader (Sen. Tom Daschle) speaking on behalf of a nation said,

Mr. President, I sent a resolution to the desk Condemning the attacks, giving condolences, call for unity, a war against terrorism and punishment for those responsible & their accomplices.

Then Senate majority leader began his address,
"I know that there is only the smallest measure of inspiration that can be taken from this devastation, but there is a passage in the Bible from Isaiah that I think speaks to all of us at times like this . . . The bricks have fallen down, But we will rebuild with dressed stone; The fig trees have been felled, But we will replace them with cedars

Sen. Daschle was identifying America as a nation under judgment (unwittingly, blindly, but he was playing is part in the prophetic mystery.)

These words were now officially recorded in the Annals of Congress as a matter of national record.
Sen. Daschle was prophesying by virtue of his office.

He was wanting to inspire America but he was actually saying  was this: "There's a message from Scripture now given and speaking to America. Warning sent to a nation that once knew God and have now wandered away."
Daschle says, "The bricks have fallen down, but we will rebuild with dressed stone; the fig trees have been felled, but we will replace them with cedars. That is what we will do. We will rebuild and we will recover."
In other words, we will do exactly as ancient Israel had done in its days of judgment.

According to biblical requirements, before truth can be established or a judgment passed in a court of law, the matter must be confirmed by two witnesses (Deut. 19.15).

Daschle is the first witness (9/12/01)and Edwards was the second (9/11/04) . . . both would speak the same words. Bearing witness of the joining together of America to ancient Israel and of 9/11 and Isaiah 9.10.

The third witness was on February 24, 2009, a newly elected President addresses a joint session of congress to confront the economic crisis, he says:
"While our economy may be weakened and our confidence shaken, though we are living through difficult and uncertain times, tonight I want every American to know this ,Mr. Obama said. "We will rebuild, we will recover, and the United States of America will emerge stronger than before."
