Text: Jude 1:11-25 (King James Version)

  "Father, I am your servant, willing and desiring to be used to bless your people."

                                       The Fields are white and the laborers are few!
C.H. Spurgeon said, "If God does not save a man by truth he certainly will not save them by lies, and if the old gospel is not competent to work a revival, then we will do without the revival;"

                                               C.O.M.M.I.T Yourselves

If Christ is Not First, Others are not second then it is Me, Myself and I and that spells Trouble!

What is our reason for coming to church and assembling ourselves together as a body of believers?  Is it  because I need the Church or am I coming because I believe the Church needs me?

Jude 1:11   Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Jude 1:12   These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

Jude 1:13   Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

Jude 1:14   And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

Jude 1:15   To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Jude 1:16   These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

Jude 1:17   But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Jude 1:18   How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

Jude 1:19   These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

Jude 1:20   But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

Jude 1:21   Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Jude 1:22   And of some have compassion, making a difference:

Jude 1:23   And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Jude 1:24   Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

Jude 1:25   To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and for ever. Amen.

Let's pray. Father,  Open my eyes so I can see Your truth.

Open my ears so I can hear Your voice.
Open my mind so I can understand Your Word.
And open my heart so I may receive all that You want me to receive. AMEN

1 Timothy 4:1   Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Saint Augustine used this metaphor to describe our pre and post conversion experience. He said that we are like horses, and before we are saved, Satan is the one who rides on the horse. Once we are converted, Christ is the one who rides the horse, but the problem then is that Satan is not willing to give up the saddle, and he keeps trying to regain control of the horse.

2 Timothy 3:1   This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 Timothy 3:2   For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2 Timothy 3:3   Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2 Timothy 3:4   Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2 Timothy 3:5   Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

I wouldn't give you a plug nickel for a salvation that doesn't change your life. If your salvation can't get your beer out of the fridge and into the trash can or the Tithe out of your wallet and into the plate, I wouldn't trust it to get you to heaven.  I'm not saying we're saved by works, but true salvation will change you! Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Matthew 24:36   But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Matthew 24:37   But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Matthew 24:38   For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

Matthew 24:39   And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Matthew 24:40   Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Matthew 24:41   Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Matthew 24:42   Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Matthew 24:43   But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Matthew 24:44   Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Satan will give you all kinds of reasons to stay uncommitted, Give you all sorts of excuses as to why the church is not important.

The worst kind of lie is one mixed with truth. Satan is not only the Prince of darkness he also presents himself as an angel of light. When a JW or a Mormon come and knock on your door, they'll say a lot of things they know you'll readily agree with..but, the worst cyanide is not in a bottle with a warning label and skull and cross bones on it..nobody would drink that. The worst cyanide is just a few drops mixed into a big jug of Kool-Aid. It's just as deadly, plus, you don't know it's there! The true gospel of Jesus Christ doesn't need to be disguised in order to "slip it in" on someone.

1 Thessalonians 5:1   But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

1 Thessalonians 5:2   For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

1 Thessalonians 5:3   For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

1 Thessalonians 5:4   But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

1 Thessalonians 5:5   Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

1 Thessalonians 5:6   Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

1 Thessalonians 5:7   For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

1 Thessalonians 5:8   But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

    (Want to know why Christians fall and fail? Yes because they stop reading the bible and stop praying and stop coming to church and all of that, but those are all consequences of a greater and deadlier action - they begin to flirt with sin, and the moment you flirt with sin, your life is not devoted and committed to God entirely, and dear friends - you will fall!)

Hebrews 10:25   Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Matthew 25:1   Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

Matthew 25:2   And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

Matthew 25:3   They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

Matthew 25:4   But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

Matthew 25:5   While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

Matthew 25:6   And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

Matthew 25:7   Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

Matthew 25:8   And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil for our lamps are gone out.

Matthew 25:9   But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

Matthew 25:10   And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

Matthew 25:11   Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

Matthew 25:12   But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Matthew 25:13   Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Romans 13:12   The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Romans 13:13   Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

Acts 2:1   And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Acts 2:2   And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Acts 2:3   And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Acts 2:4   And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 4:31   And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
