Text: Exe 8:1-14 (King James Version)

"Father, I am your servant, willing and desiring to be used to bless your people."

What does Memorial Day mean to you?
For some it means..
BBQ
Beach
Day off work
Sleep in late

Memorial Day is actually a day of remembrance..

To Remember and Honor the men and women of our American military who laid down their lives for the cause of freedom in our land.
Remember if it were not for our courageous soldiers, we would have the freedoms we enjoy today in America.

The men and women who have given their lives for America in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force are the heroes of today..
Thank God for all out military forces that have paid the ultimate sacrifice to keep us Free, in this world of give and take, there are all too few who are willing to give what it takes." Freedom always has a price and freedom has always been bought with blood. But there is one here today who is mightier than all that brings true freedom to all! " freedom from frogs! " Anything that would hinder your growth.

John 8:32   And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 8:36   If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

In one community -- the Village atheist was not a bad man. He just didn't believe. He wasn't interested in church..and there was only 1 in the area. And this church was,-- well, mostly a social club. Heartlessly and spiritually dead—no conversions or decisions for Christ had been made for some time. One day the church building literally caught on fire, and everyone, the whole town ran toward to help extinguish the flames..including the village atheist! Someone noticed the village atheist and hollered out: "Hey, this is something, this is the first time we've ever seen you running to church!" The atheist replied, "This is the first time I've ever seen the church on fire!"  If frogs are present in your life then the fire of God is absent!

- Bible tells us in 2 Tim 3:5 that, in the Last days the Church will have a "form of Godliness, but deny its power." We're now living out this prophecy. We have an appearance of godliness, but we have no power, because we tend to compromise with the world. We often allow many other things in our lives that are not pleasing to a Holy God. The church has become so worldly trying to fit in with society we have extinguished our fire with frogs.

- In Rev. 2: 5 Jesus threatened the church at Ephesus, saying, "Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place."

Exodus 8:1   And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

Exodus 8:2   And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:

Exodus 8:3   And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:

Exodus 8:4   And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.

Exodus 8:5   And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.

Exodus 8:6   And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

Exodus 8:7   And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

Exodus 8:8   Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Entreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.

Exodus 8:9   And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I entreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only?

Exodus 8:10   And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.

Exodus 8:11   And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people; they shall remain in the river only.
Exodus 8:12   And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.

Exodus 8:13   And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.

Exodus 8:14   And they gathered them together upon heaps: and the land stank.

Jesus said to those who were ready to stone a woman caught in adultery (let him that is without sin cast the first stone).
He could have as easily said ( let him that is without frogs cast the first stone).

At one time or another we have all had them, some of us have had them worse than others.
Many of you listening to me right now have them, ( your are infected).
The bad thing about them is (They're contagious).
No I'm not talking about the mumps or the measles  ( I'm talking about frogs).

God has determined to bring his people out of Egypts bondage, but Pharaoh is determined to keep them as slaves
Pharaoh's rebellion opens the door to a plague of frogs.
"frogs everywhere"
The kitchen, the bathroom, the living room, the bedroom, even in the sheets.

Frogs is anything in your life that is contrary to Gods word and Gods will for your life. Things that you know are out of order, things that shouldn't be there. You may have them hidden from me or some others but they are not hidden from GOD!
There are all kinds of frogs. " There are big frogs, little frogs, fat frogs, skinny frogs,
There are frogs of habits and addictions, there are frogs of uncleanness, frogs of lust, and greed, and pride.
There are frogs of sickness, and disease, poverty and lack.

There are frogs that people can see, smell and hear.
Then there are frogs that people can't see. ( frogs in the heart and in the mind). Those Secret Frogs that Other people may not be able to see them but you know they're there.

One thing is for sure Pharaoh and all his servants knew they had a frog problem.

The first step to getting rid of the frogs in your life is to admit you've got ‘em.

The bad thing about frogs is they grow, There is no such thing as a little SIN

little frogs become big frogs,
Little stinkers become big stinkers.
And they multiply (Anytime you give place and make room for one frog in your life, you have just given an invitation to the whole frog population).
You can't have one pet frog, off in a corner of your life that you feed and protect and take care of, and it not affect the rest of your life.

A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

Romans 6:16   Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Romans 6:17   But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Romans 6:18   Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Pharaoh recognized his frog problem was not getting better it was getting worse, nothing he or they did, was helping, in fact it was making matters worse.

The next step to getting rid of the frogs was to recognize they couldn't fix the problem, They were only making matters worse.
On your best day or best behavior you can never be good enough without the righteousness of the LORD! All you are trying to pull off is just another resolution filled with good intentions but lacking the true power to set you free..

Step 3 They reached the place where they hated the frogs.

We have to acknowledge our own frailties, and weaknesses.

God will not deliver you from something that you enjoy doing, love, or something you are willing to tolerate.

Pornography, drugs, nicotine, lust, a bad temper, self pity, depression, jealousy, un-forgiveness.

How then can you be delivered from something that you know is wrong, you know God is not pleased with, and you shouldn't have in your life but you like it?
You enjoy it, your flesh enjoys it, ( I know it's wrong and I know I shouldn't have it in my life, but I love it).

How can I be delivered from the frogs in my life, when If I'm honest about it, I really like them?.

The answer is: You have to agree with God. I can only do all things through CHRIST which strengthens me!
You have to chose, to operate out of your heart, your spirit and not your flesh.
Your flesh may lust after it and desire it (but In my heart I choose to hate it, because God hates it).
When I choose to hate it in my heart, or my spirit, then the power of God begins to move through my spirit, and empowers me to put to death the appetites and the works of the flesh.

There are many Christians including myself, that if they allowed, or if I allow my flesh to have control, we would do things that are ungodly, not good for me physically or spiritually.

That's why I have to live out of my spirit, my heart, and not my flesh.
(Because in my flesh dwelleth no good thing. Ro 7:18)

Galatians 5:16   This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Galatians 5:17   For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

Step #4 They Recognized the need for God's help.

AA, anger management, marriage counseling, the patch, nicorettes, rehab.
I'm not against these things persay , Their all well and good in their place.

But they cannot deliver you.

The doctor, the financial consultant, the lawyers, they all play their part, but first and foremost and above all you need God.

Pharaoh calls for Moses and asks him to pray for their deliverance.
(Glory over me Moses says: Well Hallelujah, you've finally come to your senses Pharaoh)
when do you want me to pray?

And Pharaoh speaks that one demon inspired word that has doomed multitudes to an eternal hell "Tomorrow"

Give me one more day with the frogs,

I want to get rid of this, but not today
I want to pet my sin, I want to indulge my flesh, and satisfy my lust just one more time.
I want to get my life right with God Tomorrow
I want to get off these drugs (tomorrow)
I want to get out of this adulterous affair (tomorrow)
I want to get rid of this lust and perversion (tomorrow)
I want to be free of this anger and resentment and hatred and un-forgiveness (tomorrow)

Tomorrow:
How many multiplied thousands have said tomorrow, but tomorrow never came?
On 9-11 when the twin towers came down, nearly 3,000 people lost their lives.
For them tomorrow never came,
Some years ago there was a sunami that in one day claimed nearly 300,000 lives.
For them tomorrow never came.

Ps 27:1 Boast not thyself of tomorrow: For thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

Lu 12:16 Tells the story of the rich young ruler, the bible calls him a fool.
He thought he had it made,
He said I will say to my soul, soul take thine ease, eat drink and be merry, thou hast much goods laid up for many years).
But God said thy fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee.

You don't have the promise of tomorrow, you have now, you have this heart beat, this breath,
2 Co 6:2 Behold now is the accepted time, behold now is the day of salvation.

When Moses Prayed (God killed the frogs).
That means, what you have wrestled with and struggled with for years, God can take care of it in one minute.
No matter how bad it is, God will break it's power over your life.
                                                                        Admit you are powerless

James 5:16   Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

There may still be the temptation, but its controlling power over your life will be broken.

(Does anybody feel a frog killing anointing coming up right now)?

It's time to put your foot down and declare (it's over) not one more day with the frogs.
I don't have to put up with the devil's mess for one more day.

Immediately when Moses prayed the frogs started dying.

I believe somebody is getting a revelation that you now have power over the devil and freedom from every frog in your life, and you don't have to put up with it anymore.

When the frogs died, they were still in the house, they had to carry them out.
When God kills something in your life, It's time to take out the trash, get it out, remove it.
Don't play with it, and test it, and poke it to see if it's dead.
Get rid of it.

Many people have been instantly delivered and set free by the power of God, and they foolishly played around with and tested and poked and prodded, until the thing reasserted it'self and revived and they ended up more bound than ever.

Luke 11:24   When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.

Luke 11:25   And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.

Luke 11:26   Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

No my friend, the instant God strikes the death blow, it's time to take out the trash.

They piled them up in Heaps and the land stank.

I know it's a foul and stinking situation, but the good news is, (It's not in my house anymore).

We're leaving this place today and we're leaving behind us a pile of dead frogs,
Things that used to torment us, and use to control our lives, and used to keep us awake at night.
We're taking out the trash
Not one more day with the frogs.
In Jesus Name I am free from Frogs!
