Text: John 21:10-17   (King James Version)

"Father, I am your servant, willing and desiring to be used to bless your people."

The Fields are white and the laborers are few!
C.H. Spurgeon said, "If God does not save a man by truth he certainly will not save them by lies, and if the old gospel is not competent to work a revival, then we will do without the revival;"

John 21:10   Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.

John 21:11   Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.

John 21:12   Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

John 21:13   Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.

John 21:14   This is now the third time that Jesus showed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

John 21:15   So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

John 21:16   He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

John 21:17   He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Let's pray. Father,

Open my eyes so I can see Your truth.

Open my ears so I can hear Your voice.
Open my mind so I can understand Your Word.
And open my heart so I may receive all that You want me to receive. AMEN

Not everyone who says they love Jesus really loves Him.. or really wants to listen to Him.

ILLUS: A Barna study in 2009 found that - of those Americans who SAID they were believers:
34% believed that the Bible was NOT accurate in all it teaches.
40% believed that ALL religions teach equally valid truths.
55% say that if a person is generally good or does enough good things for others they will EARN A PLACE in heaven.
34% believe that there are some sins that even God cannot forgive.
44% believe that Jesus committed sins while on earth.
40% believe that after he was crucified, Jesus did not physically return to life.

Not everyone who says they love Jesus actually does.
And there are too many of people - in churches across the land - that don't pay attention to Him.

Jesus said:
"If you love me, you will obey what I command...
"If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching.." John 14:15 & 23

Coat tail religion will send you to a devils hell!

1 Corinthians 1:12   Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:13   Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? Or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

The worst thing we could possible do for our children is to re-assure them they were saved at an early age. This builds up a false sense of security that is damnable at best.

Matthew 15:8   This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Matthew 15:9   But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.  Momma said I was, My daddy is a preacher or a deacon!

Matthew 15:10   And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

Matthew 15:11   Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

Matthew 15:12   Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

Matthew 15:13   But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

Matthew 15:14   Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch

Matthew 7:15   Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 7:16   Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Matthew 7:17   Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Matthew 7:18   A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Matthew 7:19   Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire..

Matthew 7:20   Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Matthew 7:21   Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 7:22   Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? I went to church sometimes. I was a good person. I gave to the poor

Matthew 7:23   And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

In order to be truly saved you first have to KNOW you are LOST and UNDONE no matter what society has told you.

We have been programmed into a false assumption of salvation by an errant word from even the pulpits. We have heard more messages than any other generation in time past. We have judged the message as if were for someone else and not applicable to us and became hearers only and never doers and therewith deceiving our own selves into false assumptions.

James 1:13   Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

James 1:14   But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

James 1:15   Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

James 1:16   Do not err, my beloved brethren.
