Text: Luke 4:1-14   (King James Version)

"Father, I am your servant, willing and desiring to be used to bless your people."

The Fields are white and the laborers are few!
C.H. Spurgeon said, "If God does not save a man by truth he certainly will not save them by lies, and if the old gospel is not competent to work a revival, then we will do without the revival;"

Luke 4:1   And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

Luke 4:2   Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

Luke 4:3   And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

Luke 4:4   And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Luke 4:5   And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, showed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

Luke 4:6   And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

Luke 4:7   If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

Luke 4:8   And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Luke 4:9   And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:

Luke 4:10   For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

Luke 4:11   And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Luke 4:12   And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Luke 4:13   And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

Luke 4:14   And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

Let's pray. Father,

Open my eyes so I can see Your truth.

Open my ears so I can hear Your voice.
Open my mind so I can understand Your Word.
And open my heart so I may receive all that You want me to receive. AMEN

One of the greatest reasons for America's moral washout is the watered down sermons coming from our pulpits!  Around our cities and all across our nation, there are compromising, pantywaste preachers standing up behind Gods sacred desk trying not to rock the boat…just talk 30 minutes without saying anything! We need preachers called by God, not sent by momma , to stand up and declare, "thus saith the Lord", without apology. A preacher without boldness is like a knife without an edge, a gun without bullets, or a 5 mile train without an engine!

Luke 16:10   He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

Luke 16:11   If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

Luke 16:12   And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

Luke 16:13   No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Sin is so common in the church today that we hear about it all the time…and even the pastors are falling like flies and it doesn't even surprise us anymore like it used to…we don't know how to blush anymore. Sin is serious! And open sin in the church is like a rattler in the crib with the baby! Sin is a maniac with a knife loose in a nursing home! Sin is the very element which nailed Jesus to the cross…it's time the church take sin seriously!

If you are truly saved! Then you are absolutely free!

Colossians 2:6   As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

Colossians 2:7   Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Colossians 2:8   Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Colossians 2:9   For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Colossians 2:10   And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

God set you free through the Son to Serve, Not to be Served!

Revelation 2:29   He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelation 3:6   He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelation 3:13   He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelation 3:22   He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Joshua 24:14   Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.

Joshua 24:15   And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Joshua 24:16   And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;

The Choice is very simple! Make 1 of only 2 choices because,

God is about to shake this earth like he has never shaken it prior to this point.. Some of you are feeling the tremors. If you are not being shaken just hold on because you are about to be.

Hebrews 12:25   See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

Hebrews 12:26   Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

Hebrews 12:27   And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Hebrews 12:28   Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

You say he would never do that unto one of his own elect.

2 Timothy 3:8   Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

2 Timothy 3:9   But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

2 Timothy 3:10   But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

2 Timothy 3:11   Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

2 Timothy 3:12   Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

2 Timothy 3:13   But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Job 16:12   I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he hath also taken me by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.

Job 16:13   His archers compass me round about, he cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth not spare; he poureth out my gall upon the ground.

Job 16:14   He breaketh me with breach upon breach, he runneth upon me like a giant.

Job 16:16   My face is foul with weeping, and on my eyelids is the shadow of death;

You better be Like David when he made this statement!

Psalms 1:2   But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Psalms 1:3   And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Psalms 1:4   The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Psalms 1:5   Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

Psalms 1:6   For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalms 16:8   I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Psalms 21:7   For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.

Psalms 62:6   He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

Matthew 16:18   And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Matthew 16:19   And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in

heaven.

God is about to do a new thing!

Isaiah 43:19   Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

When you got saved, your old nature was not eradicated…as a matter of fact, it wasn't even improved. Yes, you received a new nature, but the old one is still there, and just as wicked as ever! We get ourselves under control when we give control over to God, but we all can get away from God and get in the flesh, and we all are capable of doing anything. David…broke about 7 of the commandments all at once.

Luke 12:37   Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

Luke 12:38   And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

Luke 12:39   And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
